Purifying action: purifying formulas, infused with natural extracts, fight dandruff at its source for a deep, flake-free clean that lasts for 48 hours. Fortifying action: powered with b-vitamins, hair is strengthened for a healthy, recharged look. Garnier fructis anti-dandruff clean and fresh 2-in-1 shampoo + conditioner invigorates hair and scalp and provides extra conditioning for all hair types.
Just recently i've been diagnosed with atopic dermatits on my scalp. I was prescribed shampoos and oils by prescription from my doc to get the condition under control. Once under control, my doc suggested i find and use a dandruff shampoo. I tried many brands but all left my hair dry and brittle.
The shampoo is fantastic and I use it daily. It lathers very well, rinses quickly; the shampoo leaves my hair soft and manageable. Also, my hair is no longer thinning in my " two hot itchy spots". I scratched those spots continuously until I started using this shampoo. I recommend this product over all the anti-dandruff shampoo brands out there.

I really like the scent (smells like apples!!!), but it tangled my hair and it made it frizzy and limp. I like Garnier Frutcius a lot, but I wouldn't try the 'fine hair' one. not very good

Finally, a gel hard-wired for hard-hold. Stubborn, inflexible, its firm grip makes styling a snap. Spiky, stiff, sleek, whatever your style, it's staying that way. In place, in style. Only demanding styles need apply.
5.0 out of 5 starsITS GREAT, April 18, 2010 By L. PARKER "KETA" (GREENVILLE, NC) - See all my reviews(REAL NAME) IT'S GREAT IF YOU ARE NOT GOING NATURAL ON YOUR HAIR, LIKE ME. I USED TO USE IT BEFORE I STOPPED USING THE NO SULFATE SHAMPOOS. I USE IT TO SHAVE MY ARM PITS NOW. IT'S GREAT FOR SHAVING ARM PITS.

Garnier Fructis Shampoo ruined my hair. The first bottle I ever used dulled the texture and shine of my hair and I swore I would never use it again. However, my hair tends over time to get over-conditioned and so I thought I'd use some Garnier to de-condition my hair and rough it up a bit and then return to my regular shampoo. This time it left a sticky, gunky residue on my hair that won't wash out. Vinegar rinses and baking soda did little to help. The gunk is not budging. A little web surfing revealed a lot of women have had this same problem after using Garnier. What I'm reading is that if you have thick, curly, kinky, or unmanageable hair, you may actually like this product. The coating it leaves on the hair probably helps tame unruly hair. But if you have normal, silky straight, or fine hair; watch out! The coating will leave your hair feeling like you washed it in pine sap. My hair won't color properly now due to the coating. And I'm getting breakage near the roots which I believe is where the new growth is breaking off from where the coating starts. I think I'm stuck until I can cut all this out of my hair. I'm going to give Dawn dishwashing detergent a try next. And oh, one more thing; found out my mother was having the same problem - didn't know she had decided to try Garnier and until I mentioned my problem she had not connected her stickiness to the Garnier use. So, unless you have hair that sorely needs taming, I'd stay away!

Fructis Fortifying Shampoo (40 Fl Oz)
I bought this product based on Consumer Search saying that it's best shampoo out there--it seems to work fine, but I can't say that I notice it being any better than Suave or Tresemme. In fact, Suave has more fun fragrances to choose from, so I will probably switch back to using that from now on. That or Aussie shampoos, which both feel and smell great!

1 of 1 people found the following review helpful: 5.0 out of 5 starsGreat stuff, July 21, 2009 By Jennifer Miller (Michigan) - See all my reviewsI normally buy my hair products at the salon but I was sick of paying their prices. A friend of mine (who does hair) told me to try the Garnier Fructis line so I decided to give it a shot. I honestly can't tell the difference between the expensive stuff I was using vs. this. Much cheaper and the same results!
I've also never had a problem with burning eyes, skin, etc.

This shampoo's light and nourishing cleansing ingredients leave hair soft, supple and shiny.
Kerastase Nutritive Bain Satin 1 Complete Nutrition Shampoo for Normal to Sensitised Hair, 8.5-Ounce Bottle
This is one of the best shampoos, which I have used. It makes my hair very clean and shiny. And it's got a great scent. The bottle is big, so it will last for a long time. I would definitely recommend this product.

Cleanses and cares for your hair and scalp, providing it with nutrients to help keep it in balance. Works best with Neril Reactive Hair Tonic.
As a cancer survivor I do recommend this product to those who develop problems with hair regrow. Works well but with a tonic.

I switched to Garnier Fructis Triple Nutrition Shampoo and Conditioner about a month ago and I have to say my hair was never in worse health. The first week, my scalp became scaly and the skin could only be described as "wet powdery-sludge" that came off my skull with nothing more than a light touch. My hair started falling out about two weeks into using this product. I have never EVER experienced hair falling out like this. During a shower, my hair would pull out with literally no resistance at about 200/strands per light tug. I was afraid for my health, I had no idea that any shampoo could ever do this. I started taking more vitamins including Iron because I thought I might be anemic, I even changed my diet. Nothing changed. Even after the changes my hair became worse and worse. About an inch of my hair starting from my scalp became incredibly greasy that no amount of scrubbing could ameliorate and I had scabs all throughout my scalp and massive amounts of dandruff started to appear. I only get dandruff during winter months, and even then it's slight - hardly noticeable. After a month of these horrible symptoms, I finally came to the conjecture that it might be my SHAMPOO that has been causing all of the problems. Today I took a shower in the morning using the Garnier Fructis Triple Nutrition shampoo. My hair was just as dingy and greasy as it was before I took the shower. No amount of scratching or rubbing helped the amount of itching that occurred and about twelve…

Garnier Fructis Fortifying Sleek & Shine shampoo and conditioner are the worst I have ever used, bar none. They haven't made my hair fall out yet but I probably will throw them out/give them to an unsuspecting enemy before that has a chance to happen. I bought these again after using them in the summer, but I had since wiped the horrible memories from my brain and forgotten I had tried them before. I like to switch up shampoos and conditioners regularly to keep them working their best and this stuff was $2.80/bottle at a time when I had about 6 bucks to last me the week. It was a desperate situation, the packaging was shiny and matched my bathroom, and as I said, the previous nightmare had been erased from my memory. I tried it out and immediately thought "this shampoo doesn't seem to be rinsing out" but after a while my arms grew tired so I moved on the the conditioner which was runny and very un-conditoner-like. Since so much of the slick residue from the shampoo remained, it hardly mattered. As I blow dried my hair I had a case of deva ju and then I realized I had been there in that spot making a futile attempt to dry my hair several months earlier, and it was after using this same horrible yet deceptively pleasant smelling stuff. The hair finally dried as much as it was going to, and it was puffy looking and brittle feeling. I ran my hand through and it got stuck. I broke out my flat iron after not using it for several months because this hair wasn't going to…

I bought this when I saw the advertisement and thought it was a unique, cool concept and had good experiences with Garnier before with their shampoo/conditioner products. I was mistake on this one. The other review mentioned the knob on top of the bottle, which I agree is a pain to get open when your hands are wet and I've hurt my fingers many a time trying to get it open. The shampoo smells funny as does the conditioner but it seems like a matter of personal preference. When I tried the shampoo for the first time I had mixed feelings about it. I needed a haircut and assumed the oily, greasy, hanging in strands, feeling heavy was due to needing a hair cut. I had my hair cut and this product still leaves my hair oily, greasy, dirty looking and feeling heavy and generally unwashed. Maybe it's the product or maybe it's but me but this product did not work me.

When flaking is an issue, kick the flakes with new garnier fructis anti-dandruff shampoos. Introducing our next generation dual-action formulas for 48 hour dandruff control. Fortifying action: powered with b-vitamins, hair is strengthened for a healthy, recharged look. Garnier fructis anti-dandruff dry scalp shampoo provides a deep clean for everyday use with aloe vera to moisturize and relieve scalp itch.
I was in need of a dandruff shampoo, and because I've used and enjoyed other Garnier Fructis haircare products, I was excited when I saw they had a dandruff shampoo available. I'd previously tried a store brand to try to save money, but apparently I got what I paid for, as my dry scalp saw no improvement. Unfortunately, I had the same experience with this shampoo. I was drawn to it because I love the smell of Garnier shampoos, and this one smelled as good as any other, but it didn't help with my dandruff. I was using it every time I shampooed, and my scalp stayed as dry and itchy as before I started using it. It was fine for my hair itself, as it left it clean and shiny, so I have no complaints there. But I should point out that I was also using one of Garnier's conditioners at the same time, so I'm not sure if it was the shampoo or the conditioner that deserves the credit.
I've since tried Head and Shoulders, and my scalp is much improved, so I'd have to recommend that brand over this one if you want a dandruff shampoo that actually does what you'd expect a dandruff shampoo to do. I'm still using a Garnier conditioner with the Head and Shoulders shampoo, so I have nothing against Garnier products in general, but this particular one was a disappointment for me.
